NORTH Melbourne have announced that they have re-signed exciting young ruckman Majak Daw to a two-year contract extension with the club that will see him remain with the Roos through at least until the end of the 2015 season.
Daw, 22, is first Sudanese-born player in the AFL and has already had more than a few highlight reel moments so far in his career.
“It’s a big commitment from the club to me,” said Daw via comments published on the club’s website.
“I’m just so happy that the club are willing to give me that opportunity again, I know I’ve got a lot of hard work to do from now until 2015.
“I’d like to add more games to my career so far, it’s a great club to be a part of.
“I’ve got great teammates. I’ll hopefully learn a lot more from guys like Drew Petrie and Boomer Harvey.
“I’m just pretty happy.”
